STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) has reached a deal to acquire Berlin-based Climtech GmbH.
Effective from 1st January 2024, the acquisition will retain more than 120 jobs at Climtech which has provided HVAC-R, plumbing, and water measurement monitoring and regulation technology since 1999.
"With the purchase of Climtech, STRABAG PFS consistently expands its comprehensive range of services in providing building technical trades in-house, deepening our value creation," says Siegfried Wanker, a Board Member of STRABAG SE.
"This benefits our customers and enables us to optimally leverage cross-group synergies."

The managing directors of Climtech, Wolfgang Heinke and Jörg Trepsdorf will join STRABAG PFS and say "belonging to STRABAG PFS will benefit employees and customers alike by supporting the future long-term development of the company".
Climtech operates in the new build, refurbishment and maintenance markets, and serves clients predominantly in Berlin and Brandenburg.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.
