Acquisition of Last-mile Logistics Asset Near Helsinki Airport
Alma Property Partners and Alea Partners have acquired a last-mile logistics property located in Koivuhaka, Vantaa, through their joint venture UrbanLight.
Established to invest in logistics, last-mile, and light industrial properties strategically positioned within key areas of the Helsinki metropolitan area.
UrbanLight has already acquired an asset in Tuusula.
The second acquisition relates to a property at Niittyvillankuja 3 in Koivuhaka, a strong logistics area within the proximity of the airport.
The property comprises 4,500 square meters of high-quality leasable space with free ceiling heights above 8 meters and a large yard area.
Strong tenants of the property include Skanska Rakennuskone Oy and Pakkauspörssi Oy.
Robert Landtman, Partner and Head of Finland at Alma Property Partners, comments, "This second investment fits well with UrbanLight’s strategy of acquiring high-quality last-mile and logistics assets in prime locations.
We see an opportunity to modernise the property through energy-efficiency investments to improve the property’s sustainability footprint."
"The acquisition of Niittyvillankuja 3 demonstrates Alea's ability to identify and execute attractive off-market deals.
Our pipeline looks really promising, and we are actively pursuing several additional transactions that should close during the spring," continues Mikko Haapalainen, Founding Partner at Alea Partners.
