EMCOR UK has promoted internal candidate Kam Singh to the newly created role of Director of ESG.
Reporting to COO Ian Meaden, Singh is tasked with leading the facility services provider's ESG strategy and aligning it to group strategy.
He will also monitor and report progress against ESG metrics whilst leading consultancy services to customers which relate to upcoming ESG reporting requirements in the United Kingdom.
A chartered engineer and MBA with over 30 years' experience, Singh has utilised technical, managerial and commercial skills with a focus on sustainability and net zero strategies.
He joined EMCOR UK in 2022 as director of carbon solutions and has led its Carbon Transformation service which uses a versatile toolkit to support customers – from asset planning and benchmarking to project delivery.
Singh says: “Our ESG work is driven by engaging with our customers and reacting to global trends, all with the purpose of creating a better world at work.
