ADE to Sponsor Energy Technology Live

Sustainable energy investor AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE) will sponsor this year’s Energy Technology Live exhibition which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on 12th and 13th March.

The event amalgamates two exhibitions – the Distributed Energy Show and the Energy Storage Show – to accelerate the adoption of decentralised energy generation.

Alongside supporting the exhibition as a sponsor, representatives from the ADE team will take to the Distributed Energy Show stage to discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

On the second day of the event (Thursday 13 March), chief commercial officer Miles Thomas will present a keynote on the emerging role of battery storage in the commercial energy landscape of tomorrow.

From optimising the potential of behind-the-meter generation, to tackling misconceptions around funding challenges, he will provide a deep dive into the technology’s future potential.

ADE’s senior investment director Ben Cameron will also join thought leaders from across the renewable energy supply chain for a panel discussion titled ‘Financing the future: unlocking asset capital for net zero goals.’ As part of the session, Cameron will discuss the importance of funding in enabling corporate sustainability initiatives, as well as explaining the different green finance options available to UK businesses.

John Behan, CEO of ADE, tells FM Magazine: “As a highly respected event in the distributed energy calendar, we’re looking forward to both sponsoring and presenting at this year's Energy Technology Live show.

With a targeted audience of industry experts and a jam-packed presentation schedule, the exhibition will provide the perfect opportunity to engage with representatives from across the industry, understand the challenges they’re facing, discuss the opportunities in front of us and tackle some common misconceptions around the cost of financing renewables.

“Being named as a sponsor of the event demonstrates our commitment to leading the distributed energy conversation and supporting the global acceleration of decentralised solutions.

“We’ll be on hand throughout the event to talk with visitors about the countless opportunities presented by distributed energy, as well as how innovative funding approaches are helping to propel the world forward towards an energy landscape powered by clean, green, renewable resources.”

ADE funds, builds, owns and operates renewable energy technologies that help businesses to reduce energy costs and decarbonise their operations.

With the backing of AGP Sustainable Real Assets, ADE delivers onsite green energy solutions with no upfront costs through innovative power purchase agreements (PPAs).
