Under the theme CONNECT CREATE, this phase will serve as a global observatory, bringing together emerging lifestyles, design trends, and shifting market demands. At the heart of the exhibition, nine key design forces will define the future of home living:
- Oriental Aesthetics: There's a growing appreciation for Asian cultural heritage, where traditional craftsmanship, materials, and spatial harmony are being reinterpreted for modern living, blending Eastern philosophy with global design trends.
- Natural Healing: Well-being is at the core of many designs now. Natural light, materials, and biophilic elements are integrated into interiors, helping create calming environments that promote health.
- International Resonance: As a global hub, CIFF fosters creative exchanges among designers, brands, and architects from all over the world. This phase will highlight the increasingly interconnected nature of the design world.
- New Solid Wood: Solid wood is making a comeback-thanks to cutting-edge processing techniques and refined finishes. It's all about sustainability paired with modern design.
- Design Going Global: The rise of Chinese design on the global stage is a key trend, with unique blends of cultural identity, production innovation, and growing competitiveness.
- Pet-Friendly Design: Our pets are becoming an integral part of home life. New designs balance human comfort with pet safety, creating spaces that work for everyone in the family.
- Design for the Elderly: As populations age, inclusive designs and smart home technologies are shaping products that support independence and a better quality of life for older adults.
- AI + Design: Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the design process, opening up new possibilities for creativity and functionality.
- Artistic Living: Furniture design is evolving into a cultural expression, where homes are not just places to live, but canvases for art, craftsmanship, and lifestyle.
Area D: A Multifaceted Lifestyle Ecosystem
A major highlight of Phase 1 is Area D, where the Home Decor & Home Textile exhibition will be located. Nearly 700 brands will showcase the latest in fabrics, decorative elements, and interior accessories, blending material culture and aesthetic innovation to redefine home environments.
Two key exhibitions will stand out in Area D:
- Pet-Friendly Living: Around 40 companies will feature furniture and smart accessories designed for pet-inclusive homes, with multifunctional furniture and integrated pet spaces that enhance both human and pet comfort.
- Healthy & Silver Life Living: As the silver economy expands, nearly 60 companies will present ergonomic solutions, assistive technologies, and smart home systems that enhance comfort, safety, and independence for the elderly.
Together, these showcases position Area D as a rich ecosystem of lifestyle and innovation, responding to the changing needs of society.
