It is essential that organisations in the United Kingdom keep an up-to-date and accurate record of their fire safety provisions to comply with the law - The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order states all inspections and services carried out must be logged.
The easy-to-use log book will replace a paper-based version with data stored securely on Safelincs' servers in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. It automatically sends out reminders for any checks that need to be carried out, and will allow users to print out a copy if they require.
The log book is suitable for organisations with multiple sites and will manage which members of staff are responsible for particular tests, enabling each to have their own account and access level. When a test or inspection is due, the log book will send an email reminder, ensuring it stays up to date.
