Macro continues work on extended role with Citrix
Macro has mobilised eight further offices across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as part of its three-year contract with Global software provider, Citrix. Macro's appointment will now include work in two new locations in Denmark and Germany, as well as offices in Spain, Sweden, Dubai and South Africa.
Macro's long-term partnership with Citrix, a leader in virtualisation, networking and cloud infrastructure, has helped to support the company's strategy to enable new ways for people to work better and has seen the delivery of a seamless programme that standardises processes across Citrix's EMEA property portfolio.
Macro has already assisted in establishing Citrix's new Denmark office and with an office move from Viannan to Amsterdam in August 2014. Further support will be given later this year when Macro will help to consolidate a further three offices in Copenhagen and mobilise further offices in Switzerland and Germany.
The new appointment will see Macro provide an integrated facilities management solution, including cleaning, maintenance, security, pest control, catering and vending. With robust procedures set in place for each location, Macro will continue to work closely with Citrix and its stakeholders to reduce the total acquisition cost and improve service delivery on a daily basis.
Macro's Deputy Managing Director, Ross Abbate, said: "Citrix's collaborative nature and forward-thinking ability is something that we at Macro also strive to achieve. We've had a great experience with Citrix on several of their key locations over the years and I'm very much looking forward to getting started in these eight new locations."
Managing Director for Macro, Debra Ward, said: "I am delighted with the work our teams have been providing for Citrix since our initial appointment. Our working relationship has gone from strength to strength and I'm sure that as we charter new territories together, we will continue to create impact for Citrix, their clients, colleagues and the communities in which we work."
Jennie Westall, Real Estate and Facilities Services Manager from Citrix said: "The technology industry is a fast-paced one. It is critical for Citrix to partner with a supplier that is able to adapt and remain flexible as the company evolves. Citrix is pleased to extend its relationship with Macro to additional locations within its real estate portfolio across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, ensuring cost effective and efficient service delivery whilst standardising processes.''
