ATCC to Hold Emergency Training Drills on September 23 - 25, 2015

ATCC, the premier global biological materials resource and standards organization, will once again hold three day training drills with local emergency responders at its headquarters office. Commuters and businesses in the vicinity of ATCC can expect to see fire and emergency medical services personnel and vehicles throughout the course of the drills.

These simulated emergency drills are valuable training exercises to prepare emergency responders and ATCC personnel for possible emergency situations. The open discussions and hands-on exercises are intended to provide effective coordination and communication between laboratory personnel and emergency responders. These drills will also allow emergency responders and laboratory personnel to work together in order to develop a successful plan of action when dealing with an emergency.

Emergency responders will have opportunities to tour the ATCC facility on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Multiple simulated emergency drills will be held Wednesday through Friday, September 23 - 25, 2015 between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm to ensure local emergency responders are available to serve our community during these exercises.

ATCC has been a member of the Prince William community since 1998. During those years ATCC has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to safety and security for both its employees and the community at large.
