Raggnar Appoints Leaders to Oversee Expansion in Wales and SW England

Raggnar, the renewable energy provider, today announced that it has appointed Paul Haydon and Mark Preece to lead its expansion into Wales and the South West of England. The appointments continues a period of rapid growth for Raggnar, which recently opened regional hubs in Aberdeenshire and Kings Lynn, and acquired the rights to supply Hargassner and Binder biomass heating technology in the UK.

Mark Preece is an energy surveyor and semi-professional footballer who will combine leadership of Raggnar's operations in the South West of England with playing duties for Chippenham Town FC. The former Bristol Rovers and Mansfield Town defender has first hand experience of running biomass heating systems and a wealth of contacts in the region's farming and business communities.

Paul Haydon, a Welsh-speaking resident of Cardigan Bay, is appointed to lead Raggnar's expansion into Wales. Paul has worked in the energy industry for almost 20 years as an energy surveyor, environmental consultant and in biomass business development.

Paul and Mark are tasked with encouraging adoption of biomass heating systems amongst business users and off-grid communities in their regions. They are also responsible for establishing Raggnar Hubs: specialist sales and service centres to meet growing demand for locally generated renewable energy and provide maintenance and after-sales support.

Raggnar's wide range of technologies and extensive experience allows it to design and build highly efficient biomass systems for hotels, farms and manufacturing plants, as well as larger heating systems used by big industrial estates and major off-grid community energy schemes.
