New MD for ABM's Business and Industry Group, UK

ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of facility solutions, has announced the appointment of Andy Donnell as managing director of its Business and Industry Group in the UK.

Under ABM's 2020 Vision strategic transformation, the Company continues to align its business operations to deliver unique industry and client solutions. In support of this, Donnell will oversee facility solutions for commercial office locations, critical, financial, shopping centres and retail locations, as well as public and entertainment venue space for ABM Business and Industry, UK.

In addition to ABM's UK Business and Industry Group, the Company also maintains a strong presence in the UK Aviation market through Omni Serv, a subsidiary of Air Serv. Ernie Patterson will continue to serve as managing director of Omni Serv and ABM's Aviation business outside of the United States.

"Andy will be responsible for driving growth by leveraging our breadth of services throughout the UK and Ernie will continue to focus on expanding our aviation business in the UK and globally."

Donnell began his career as an apprentice electrician before rising through the ranks in roles covering operations and account management. He joined Westway in January 2007 and led the firm through management buyouts in 2009 and 2014.

ABM UK provides services for approximately 1,500 locations across the UK, including 400+ commercial offices, 65 shopping centres and retail parks, 20+ airports and over 2.5 million square feet of public and entertainment venue space. Across the UK, ABM employs approximately 5,500 professionals.
