Transforming Sustainable Construction in the Middle East
On 28 September an expert panel shortlisted finalist companies for the Gaia Awards 2016.
Innovative products from ten companies that are expected to make an impact on sustainable construction in the Middle East made it into the panellists final selection from a field of more than 100 entries.
The Eighth Edition of the Gaia Awards will take place during The Big 5 at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) on 23 November.
For the first time this year, the public will be able to vote for shortlisted products by visiting a dedicated page on The Big 5 website. Voting stations will also be available at the DWTC on the first and second days of the Middle East's largest construction event which will run from 21 until 24 November.
The overall winner selected by the Gaia Awards judging panel will receive a prize of USD 50,000 in marketing services.
The Big 5 has hosted the Gaia Awards which are the industry's most respected celebration of construction equipment and products that have truly embraced the concept of moving towards a more sustainable built environment, since 2008.
