DIALux 4 Lighting Software courses

Award-winning lighting design consultancy LPA Lighting is partnering to deliver the Lighting Industry Academy's DIALux 4 Lighting software courses.

DIALux is used by over 680,000 lighting designers worldwide and the Academy's course is perfect for lighting designers, sales representatives, electrical engineers, energy assessors and other professionals who want to understand and experience DIALux lighting software.

Courses will be presented by Liz Peck - a former President of the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) whose distinguished career includes spells with Concord:marlin and Philips Lighting, prior to establishing LPA Lighting in 2007.

As a recipient of The Lux Awards' "Person of the Year" award in 2015 and Lightmongers' Student of the Year, MSc Light & Lighting award in 2003 (Liz obtained her masters' degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London), she combines experience with a passion for learning and tutoring.

Courses (which start from £275 + VAT at several locations in the UK) will cover the fundamentals of DIALux, including:

• Setting-up and getting started

• Project development

• Emergency lighting

• Additional techniques; and

• Advanced functions
