Inaugural UKAA Trade Show Expo
February 6th saw the UK Apartment Association (UKAA)'s first Trade Show Expo.
Hosted at The Guoman Tower Hotel in Tower Hill, London, the event welcomed the great and the good of the UK Build to Rent sector with developers, operators, service providers and thought leaders in the bourgeoning sector coming together to network.
One owner / operator in attendance was Atlas Residential with Jonathan Ivory, MD and President of the UKAA and Dominic Martin, Operations Director and Chair of the UKAA Policy Committee present.
"The inaugural UKAA Trade Show Expo was a real success! The first of its kind business to business event was well attended with many of the industry's 'big hitters' including L&G, Essential Living, Tipi, Get Living London, Urban Bubble, Savills and of course, Atlas Residential, attending.
The Expo also attracted a great selection of exhibitors which proved extremely useful for BtR managers / operators to exchange with suppliers efficiently across a selection of parties. Suppliers engaged with each other in meaningful conversations, especially around the integration of technology and the importance of seamless system integration for the mutual benefit of residents, operators and investors.
The UKAA Trade Show Expo also created the perfect platform for suppliers to showcase their products and services and proudly display their client rostras which was both helpful and positive to see.
Overall I felt that the UKAA Trade Show Expo was a much welcomed addition to the UK BtR calendar; it was well organised and well attended and I look forward to the next event as it is only through collaborative working and discourse that UK BtR can fulfil its vast potential."
