IMMOFINANZ Expands STRABAG Dusseldorf FM Partnership

STRABAG PFS is extending its technical facility management services for commercial property group IMMOFINANZ. In addition to the "PANTA RHEI" office building at Düsseldorf Airport, the company will manage two new buildings at Düsseldorf's MedienHafen: "FLOAT" (at Speditionsstrasse 15) and the future headquarters of global hotel search platform trivago (at Kesselstrasse 5-7) .

The three properties together have a rentable area of more than 63,000 m². The contracts run for three years with a two-year renewal option. The parties have agreed to not disclose the volume of the contract.

The main services involved in the three FM mandates are property management, maintenance, warranty, energy and fault management in addition to operator responsibility.

"FLOAT" is an ensemble consisting of six elements with a rentable area of around 28,000 m²: The individual buildings have polygonal floor plans and are connected to each other by a south-facing platform - the passerelle. The name FLOAT reflects the architectural concept devised by Renzo Piano, who envisaged the way ice floes move together in his plans for the individual buildings. STRABAG PFS will commence regular operations on 1 July 2018.

trivago's new headquarters are also being built in Düsseldorf's MedienHafen. Office space of around 26,000 m² is planned in the first section. Completion is scheduled for the middle of 2018. The start-up phase began in March and STRABAG PFS will initiate regular operations on 1 June 2018.

STRABAG PFS has already been managing the "PANTA RHEI" office building at Peter-Müller-Strasse 3 since 2014. With the current order, regular operations were continued seamlessly as of 1 March. The seven-floor, class A office building has total rental space of 9,600 m². PANTA RHEI is Greek and means "everything flows". The property itself is likewise defined by flowing forms - from the façade through to the layout.
