Patient Tablet App Wins Australian FM Award for ISS
ISS Australia is the winner of the healthcare category at this year's Australian FM Innovations Awards, after developing an app to facilitate real-time patient feedback reporting on the cleanliness of sites operated by Northern Health across Victoria.
The app, which allows patients to give feedback from their beds, enables ISS to address potential issues quickly, and was introduced to improve the quality of cleaning services, patient perceptions of room and ward cleanliness, and enhance their overall hospital experience.
Commenting on the award, Aaron Cauchi, ISS Executive General Manager, Health & Facilities Management, said:
"The patient feedback tablet has been a real success for our Healthcare team. Harnessing this technology has enabled us to improve communication with patients, resulting in enhanced quality outcomes. We are so proud of our Health and IT teams for devising and implementing this innovative tool, which has enhanced the patient experience."
