ServiceMaster Appoints James Summerville as VP Supply Management
Summerville will also lead facilities management, real estate, distribution, corporate travel, events management, aviation and product sales. His strong leadership and operational expertise will add significant value to ServiceMaster's businesses.

Summerville joins ServiceMaster from Parker Hannifin, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was vice president of supply chain for the filtration group. There he was responsible for inventory management, supplier quality and working capital performance and improvements for the group.
Prior to joining Parker, he was vice president of global supply chain for the Installation Products business unit of ABB (formerly Thomas & Betts), a US$ 42 billion global corporation, where he managed strategic procurement of US$ 1.1 billion of direct and indirect material for the international, multi-site business unit.
Previously, Summerville also oversaw the procurement operations of the Fabral and Amerimax divisions of Euramax International. He also held roles of increasing responsibility at Crouse-Hinds, a division of Cooper Industries, and at Southern Container where he began his career.
Summerville earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Towson University in Towson, M.D., and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Onondaga College in Syracuse, New York.
