ABM has launched its first Women’s Impact Group in the UK and Ireland on International Women's Day with a focus on promoting an inclusive work environment, and the contribution and leadership of women.
The group will amplify the facility services provider's mission to create a work culture where all people are valued, empowered and given opportunities to contribute to drive business objectives and goals.
Additionally, by working in partnership with the company's executive steering committee, the new group will identify clear pathways for women team members to enter leadership roles and create avenues that support mentoring, recruiting, and development.
The first order of business will be to collect insight from around the business, all of which will inform the strategy for the group’s inaugural year.
People of all genders across ABM’s industry groups are welcome to join.
This is a historically male-dominated industry and so it is refreshing to see the encouragement and support that has been given to a group set on making incremental change.
