Kingdom Group Completes Acquisition of Crystalcare Cleaning Services

The Kingdom Group has completed the acquisition of Crystalcare Cleaning Services, a specialist provider of environmentally conscious commercial cleaning services across London and South East England.

The acquired business will be rebranded as 'Kingdom Cleaning London', and will operate from the City of London.

Its new parent, Kingdom Cleaning, operates at more than 1,000 customer locations in the UK and offers an integrated services offering that includes cleaning, security, recruitment, systems, hygiene and training.

It currently employs more than 11,500 people and reported a 2024 turnover of £300m.

Crystal's existing operational management team will continue in their roles, with the unit's general managers joining the Kingdom Cleaning Leadership Team and reporting to Lucy Lloyd, Chief Services Officer.

Terry Barton, The Kingdom Group CEO, tells FM Magazine: “Our M&A team work hard to find and get over the line acquisitions that match not only our CARE values but also our passion and aspirations as a group.

I have known Toby Jerman, Crystal owner since we acquired his security business many years ago and have maintained contact all these years.

"We have always been impressed with Toby and his cleaning team and we now welcome them all to The Kingdom Group.

Our existing cleaning business and south region is further strengthened by the addition of Crystal. Together and united, we’re positioned to deliver even greater value and innovative cleaning solutions.
