On 6th September, ISS joined the History of Parliament Trust in unveiling a new publication entitled 'NHS 75: Celebrating 75 years of the National Health Service'.
The special commemorative book has been produced in partnership with leading publisher St James’s House and written by a team of academics and industry experts.
Exploring the origins, history and impact of the NHS, the fully illustrated publication marks the 75th anniversary of the service, and the people and policies that have shaped it.

For more than three decades, ISS has served the NHS in true partnership, providing critical facilities management services to hundreds of NHS buildings nationwide — delivered by people who care.
With more than 10,000 ISS people supporting healthcare Trusts across the country each day, the company is focused on finding ways to positively impact patient experience and health outcomes, from providing clean and hygienic facilities and maintaining critical infrastructure to aiding patient recovery through the ‘medicine of food’ and much more.
During the unprecedented period of the Covid-19 pandemic, ISS played a key role in the NHS’s emergency response, helping to keep hospitals running and supporting clinical staff around the clock — even helping to establish protocols for the country’s first Nightingale Hospital in south London.
